terug Van 14 tot en met 16 september 2011 vindt het PICNIC Festival plaats op het NDSM terrein in Amsterdam. Het thema van PICNIC’11 is ‘Urban Futures’. Bezoekers uit de hele wereld worden tijdens het festival uitgedaagd om gezamenlijk na te denken over de vraagstukken van deze tijd en welke rol creativiteit, technologie en business daarbij kunnen spelen.

Op vrijdag 16 september doet Evident iets speciaals op PICNIC. Elk uur tussen 11.00 en 15.00 gooien we de trossen los aan de oever van de PICNIC City voor een Urban Escape. Aan boord van de IJVEER XIII varen we het unieke ecosysteem van het IJ op. Daar bieden wij u de kans om verschillende “floating interviews” met een aantal Keynote sprekers (zoals Mark Rolston, Marcus Kirsch, Bonnie Shaw, Jake Barton, Oliver Medvedik en Matthias Hollwich) mee te maken. Een gratis ticket kunt u op vrijdag tijdens PICNIC ophalen bij het vertrekpunt op het NDSM “strand”.

The Urban Escape “floating interviews” – brought to PICNIC by Evident 
The festival PICNIC will be located at the NDSM site in Amsterdam and will be up and running from the 14th to the 16th of September 2011. The theme of PICNIC’11 is “Urban Future”. Visitors from all over the world are welcome. They will be challenged to think about the major questions of this era and the potential role of creativity, technology, and private enterprises in solving these matters.

This year Evident brings something special to PICNIC on Friday the 16th. We invite everyone aboard of the IJVEER XIII to go on an “Urban escape” journey  with us and explore the unique eco-system of the river IJ. The boat will take off every hour between 11am and 3pm. During the voyage, there will be several keynote speakers (such as Mark Rolston, Marcus Kirsch, Bonnie Shaw, Jake Barton, Oliver Medvedik and Matthias Hollwich) and you will have the opportunity to attend “floating interviews”.
